First Class Royal Fathers in Nigeria would have direct and unhindered access to the presidency if the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA wins the February 16, 2019 presidential election.

The presidential candidate of the party, retired Major General John Gbor, gave this assurance while exchanging views with the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi and the Aalafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi the Third, in their palaces at Ife and Ogbomosho in Osun and Oyo states respectively.

General Gbor explained that traditional rulers would play vital roles in the Restructuring Plans of APGA government because they are very important custodians of the people’s culture, custom and traditions.

He maintained that they would also be major stakeholders of the economic entities of Nigeria and their resources, in addition to playing vital roles in the protection of lives and property of their subjects in their various domains.

The APGA standard bearer equally presented his cardinal program known as MY FIVE COVENANTS WITH NIGERIANS to the Ooni and Aalafin, and members of their traditional cabinets known as the Eso and Oyomesi respectively.

General Gbor’s blueprint include, but not limited to; restructuring through fiscal federalism, security, economic reconstruction driven by the private sector, social agenda involving education and health, youth, women and physically challenged empowerment program.

In their various remarks, Oba Ogunwusi of Ife and Aalafin Adeyemi of Oyo, commended General Gbor and APGA for coming up with a well researched, in depth and comprehensive agenda for good governance and sustainable delivery of democracy dividends to the citizenry.

The royal fathers equally blessed him and wished him success in his presidential aspiration.

The APGA presidential candidate was accompanied on the visits by the Director General of the General John Gbor and Jerry Chukwueke Presidential Campaign Organization, Deacon Samson Oladere and top party officials from Oyo and Osun states among others.
