On the 12/1/2019 at about 4am, following intelligence report,Police operatives attached to Federal Special Anti robbery Squad (FSARS) Akwuzu arrested the following syndicate at Ire village, Ogidi in Idemili North LGA of Anambra State.
- Chimezie Aronu ‘m’ aged 22 years,
- Uchenna Obiora ‘m’ aged 18 years and,
- Chibuike Omankwu ‘m’ aged 20 years.
Suspects had on the 11/1/2019 allegedly robbed and killed one Ifeanyi Nwanga in ifite -dunu at about 4:30 pm with a gun.
They have confessed to the crime and also led the Police to the place where they hid the weapon used in perpetrating the crime.
Exhibit recovered from the suspects include one cut -to -size single barrel gun and one cartridge.
Case is under investigation after which suspects would be charged to Court.
2.1 ARREST OF MOTORCYCLE SNATCHER AND RECOVERY OF A STOLEN MOTORCYCLE.
On the 10/01/2019 at about 8:45 am,following intelligence report,Police operatives attached to the Command Special Anti -Cult unit arrested one Chidioke Chinedu ‘m’ aged 22 years of Enugu -Ukwu in Njikoka LGA of Anambra State.
Suspect was arrested with a stolen motorbike which he and his gang members previously robbed from their victim.
Case is under investigation and effort is ongoing to apprehend other fleeing accomplices in order to bring them to Justice.
