Governor Willie Obiano has directed APGA faithful across the Country to mount door to door campaign, spreading the good news of the party in preparation for the coming elections.

Governor Obiano gave the directive when he stormed Saint Mary’s Central School Ukpor, Nnewi South and Eneta Edo Square, Nnewi North Council Areas of the State, for a Thank You Rally for their support in the last year’s gubernatorial election in the State.

Candidates of the party in the areas, among numerous APGA faithful and supporters trouped out en mass to receive the Governor.

Governor Obiano said that the visit was imperative in order to acknowledge the efforts of the people at returning him for a second term of four years.

The Governor stressed that as the Chairman Board of Trustees of the Party, he is still contesting as he is still backing all candidates that emerged under the party in the area, noting that the party is becoming stronger by the day.

He assured of carrying everybody along in his remaining three years, to ensure even distribution of democracy dividends by his administration, asking them to vote for APGA in all the positions.

Describing the party as a movement, the National Chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Oye, gave the message of unity under one roof called APGA as it is the only Igbo identity with Igbo ideologies, and called on all aggrieved members to sheath their sword and rally round the party for a resounding victory in all elective positions.

The Transition Committee Chairman of Nnewi South, Chief Felix Odumegwu and his Nnewi North counterpart, Mr Chukwudi Orizu, expressed gratitude to the Governor for coming to show appreciation, assuring him of total victory for APGA in the coming election.

Also speaking, anv APGA faithful in Nnewi South Senatorial District, Dr Nicholas Ukachukwu, said that his commitment to the party is not in doubt, expressing optimism that APGA will emerge victorious in all elective positions in the State.

The occasion served as a platform to present the APGA flag to different APGA candidates in the areas visited.
