Governor Willie Obiano has expressed satisfaction with the pace of work on the ongoing reconstruction of Isseke-Mbosi-Azia road in Ihiala Local Government Area.
The Governor who spoke when he visited the road promised to install street lights on the road, adding that his administration will continue to provide dividends of democracy to the citizenry.
In a remark, the Commissioner for Road Infrastructure, Furniture and Maintenance, Mr Marcel Ifejiofor, said the State government is paying attention to the road to ensure its completion by next month.
For the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr C- Don Adinuba, Governor Obiano is focusing on developing all sectors of the State economy to offer the people credible leadership.
He observed that the Obiano administration had embarked on massive construction of seven roads in Ihiala, with each recording twelve kilometres.
The Member, representing Ihiala Constituency Two in the State House of Assembly, Mr Pascal Agbodike, noted that the people of the area are happy with the government’s intervention in road reconstruction.
The eleven point seven-five kilometre road with forty-eight meter length of bridge across Ulasi River was awarded in June, 2017.
