The people of Aguata, Anaocha and Ekwusigo Local Government Areas have reassured of protecting their votes in addition to delivering all APGA candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
They gave the assurance when Governor Willie Obiano paid them a Thank You visit.
The Governor was accompanied by party faithful and APGA candidates in the areas.
Governor Obiano asked the people of the areas to mobilize support for APGA candidates to ensure delivery of democracy dividends to their Communities, adding that he will vigorously pursue road projects and other infrastructure in the areas as funds improve.
Stakeholders in the areas including the member representing Anambra Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Chief Victor Umeh, former Governor of the Central Bank, Professor Charles Soludo, Member of APGA Board of Trustees, Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka, the Traditional Prime Minister of Neni, Chief Dr Anthony Enukeme, Chief Dan Ogbuefi, Chief Godwin Okeke, Professor Pita Ejiofor and Venerable Amaechi Okwuosa reiterated that their areas are for APGA.
Chairmen of the Local Government Areas visited appreciated the Governor for coming to show gratitude, and called on the people from wards that make up various Communities to mobilize and ensure that APGA is delivered in the General Election.
The Commissioner, for Road Infrastructure Furniture and Maintenance Mr Marcel Ifejiofor who highlighted projects embarked upon by the Governor, urged them to confirm whether the projects are being executed by the contractors or not and report back to the Ministry.
APGA flags were later presented to all its candidates in the areas visited.
