The third phase of “Governor Willie Obiano’s Community Choose Your Project Initiative” will be advertised later this week.
Governor Obiano gave the hint when the visited Ayamelum and Oyi Council Areas on Thank You Visit.
Communities, APGA faithful and candidates turned out in their numbers to welcome the Governor who came to show gratitude to them for returning him for a second term of four years.
Community Primary School Anaku and Oyi local Government Secretariat, Nteje were beehive of activities with the people surging the venue.
Addressing the mammoth crowd, Governor Obiano who said he will not relent in delivering more projects across the state pointed out that APGA is the only platform that knows the needs of the masses and has remained dedicated to its promises, assuring that only APGA candidates can deliver on their promises.
The National Chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Oye in his remarks said that because APGA already has a serving Governor, voting for other parties may form a distraction to him, adding that the party which is already traversing parts of the country is a better platform for good governance.
The Commissioner for Works, Engineer Marcel Ifejiofor and the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Greg Obi while enumerating some of the Governor’s infrastructural projects in the areas visited, urged Ndi Anambra to remove all bumps on roads across the State, and harped on the need to support APGA candidates, to keep the Governor working.
The Transition Committee Chairmen of Ayamelum and Oyi Council Areas, Barrister Ben Onyeabo and Engineer Nnamdi Nwadiogbu in their separate speeches said that the tour was well appreciated by Communities in the Local Government Areas.
Some stakeholders in the areas including Barrister Anthony Ifeanya, Barrister Ikechukwu Onyeabor, Dr Paul Odenigbo, Mr. Uchenna Okafor, among others called on eligible voters who are yet to collect their permanent voter cards to do so as it is their only tool to determine their future.
The APGA flags were handed over to the various candidates vying for different elective positions.
