The President General, Omambala Youths Forum, Prince Innocent Offordile has called on the youths of the area to maintain peace and unity at all times.
Prince Offordile gave this charge when he held a meeting with the youth leaders of Omambala extraction at his residence in Aguleri, Anambra East Local Government Area.
Addressing the youth leaders, Prince Offordile said that the meeting became pertinent due to tension in certain quarters of the zone about Fulani herdsmen and informed the youth leaders that Governor Willie Obiano is on top of the situation.
The Omambala Youths President General who said that Governor Obiano set up peace and reconciliation committee in the state to solve the issues of Fulani herdsmen and their host communities, urged them to eschew violent in any form as the present administration in the state has made peace it’s watchword.
Prince Offordile who is also the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Security noted that the Obiano administration will never toy with the well being of Ndi Anambra, hence the need for the youths to thread the path of peace always.
He assured Ndi Anambra that security of lives and property of all the residents remains paramount to the Willie Obiano administration calling on them to support the state government for it to continue to deliver dividends of democracy to the state.
