The wife of the Governor, Chief Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano has described the candidates fielded by the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in the forthcoming elections as a reflection of the party’s grand success in the state.

Chief Mrs. Obiano stated this during a solidarity rally at Awkuzu, Ward Four, Oyi local government Area.

Addressing the people of the Ward who trooped out to welcome her, Chief Mrs. Obiano maintained that the APGA family has worked very hard in building people oriented political policies that give every resident of the state a feel of true representation.

She urged the people to vote the candidates of the party in the forthcoming elections, as they offer value-driven objectives and visionary goals.

The Commissioner for Transport, Mr. Uchenna Okafor, who pointed to the strong APGA antecedents in the area, while announcing the award of contract for the construction of Akaezi-Ozuh road in Awkuzu community, described it as a signal of more good things to come.

Earlier, the Transition Committee Chairman of Oyi Council Area, Engineer Nnamdi Nwadiogbu, said that the Governor’s wife’s tireless efforts are contributing to the APGA’s success story, and pledged that the people of the area would vote for the party’s candidates to reciprocate her kind gesture.

The APGA candidates from the area, including Chief Ekene Enefe, vying to represent Oyi and Ayamelum Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Reps, and Honourable Charlse Obimma, for Oyi Constituency at the State House of Assembly, said that their political visions were inspired by the passion for a representation based on truth, accountability and selfless service.
