Senator Victor Umeh has been adjudged the best candidate for the Anambra Central Senatorial District, following his numerous achievements in the area within the eleven months period at the Red Chamber.
The State Deputy Governor, Dr. Nkem Okeke made the assessment when he accompanied the Senator to Adazi-Enu, and Ichida communities in Anaocha Council Area, as well as Njikoka Headquarters in Abagana where Senator Umeh explained to stakeholders from all the communities under the Local Government Area why they should support his reelection bid.
Deputy Governor Okeke who described Senator Umeh as a man with human heart, appealed to people of the areas to support him and other APGA candidates with their votes for quality representation.
Describing unemployment as the major challenge facing Igbo youths in the country, Senator Umeh maintained that tackling the challenge remains his paramount objective in the second term if reelected by people of the senatorial district.
Speaking on behalf of the people, some Leaders of Thought in the areas including Chief Jude Afulukwe, Prince Chuma Okolo, state Vice Chairman APGA Anambra Central Senatorial Zone, Sir Theophile Nnoli, said they have earlier resolved to support Senator Umeh and others with their votes, as the Senator has the capacity to represent and defend them and the entire Igbo nation at the Senate.
Also speaking, the Transition Committee Chairman for Njikoka Local Government, Chief Judge Ozor said Senator Victor Umeh has done much for the people of the Senatorial District and deserves the massive vote of the people for continuity.
