People of Anaocha Local Government Area has declared their support for Senator Umeh and other APGA Candidates during the general elections holding few days from now.

Stakeholders in the Council Area made this known as Senator Umeh took his campaign rally to some Communities including Nri, Adazi-Nnukwu, Adazi-Ani, Neni, Adazi-Enu and Ichida respectively.

The Ebede Square Nri, Afor market Square Adazi-Nnukwu, St Peters Field Adazi-Ani, Oye Market Square Neni, Nkwo market Square Adazi-Enu and Oye Ezeokpu Market Square Ichida were all filled to capacity as people of the Communities, stakeholders, APGA faithful as well as the traditional rulers troop out in their numbers to welcome the APGA Candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial District Senator Umeh, in company of Deputy Governor Dr Nkem Okeke and Chief Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano, APGA BOT members and other APGA Candidates.

Speaking during the rally at Ebede square Nri, an APGA BOT member Dr Mrs. Uju Okeke and Special Assistant to the Governor on Events, Sir Anthony Ugorji, who applauded Senator Umeh for his landmark achievements within a short time reassured him of their full support noting that Nri people are strongly behind his re-election bid.

In their separate speeches, the APGA Candidate for Anaocha Two State Constituency Mr. Ejike Okechukwu, the Sectary Anaocha Local Government Area Sir Innocent Ezike who is also the Deputy Coordinator Senator Victor Umeh Support group Anaocha Chapter pointed out that Ndi Igbo in general should support Senator Umeh for his quality representation and noted that the entire Igbo nation will be at great loss if a voice like that of Senator Umeh is lost at the Red Chembers.

Senator Umeh, reacting with satisfaction having seen the passion and zeal to deliver him and other APGA Candidates which was shown by the people of Anaocha, said that more Constituency projects will be attracted to Anaocha Local Government Area, if he is re-elected.
Senator Umeh on the occasion laid a foundation stone for construction of a skill acquisition center in Adazi-Ani as part of his 2018 Constituency projects.

The event climaxed with Chief Cyril Okoye presenting items to support Senator Umeh which
include ten refrigerators, five Motorcycles and four sewing machines which was shared among the people of Adazi-Ani as empowerment to enable them become self sufficient, while empowerment of thirty-five indigent women with fifty thousand naira by Senator Victor Umeh, also featured at the event.
