The Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Reverend Paulinus Ezeokafor says history enables one to know the past, present and plan for the future.

In a homily at Saint James Parish Neni in Anaocha Local Government Area during a thanksgiving Mass, Most Reverend Ezeokafor charged Christians to always know their root.

He reminded affluent individuals especially those of Igbo extraction to always contribute to the development of their various communities.

Most Reverend Ezeokafor who maintained that upliftment only comes from God, advised Christians to always bear good testimonies about Jesus Christ.

He charged the faithful to anchor their faith in God in addition to living lives capable of winning souls for Christ.

Most Reverend Ezeokafor advised Nigerians to always embark on those programmes that will promote National Peace and Unity.

In a remark, the Parish Priest of the Church, Reverend Father Amobi Chukwuma, who said that all power belongs to God, charged those occupying leadership positions to use such in improving the living standards of the people.
