The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, Chief Victor Ike-Oye has urged members and supporters of the party to remain calm, be on the alert always and not to allow themselves to be used by anybody to cause confusion or obstruct the smooth conduct of
elections.

In a statement in Awka following the postponement of yesterday’s Presidential and National Assembly elections by INEC, Chief Ike-Oye expressed regret over the development as according to him, APGA has concluded plans to participate robustly in the election before it was postponed abruptly.

According to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, members of the party are ready for the election but regretted the huge cost already incurred.

Chief Ike-Oye said that as a responsible political party APGA will abide by the postponement and work towards the new dates expressing optimism that INEC will conduct free, fair and credible elections
