Super Eagles captain, Mikel Obi, has continued to create excitement among fans of English Championship club Middlesbrough following his superlative showing for the club in recent weeks.
According to sports report, he linked up with Middlesbrough in January on a short term deal after severing ties with Chinese club, Tianjin Teda.
His presence reportedly added a lot of grit and perseverance to Middlesbrough’s midfield as they recorded their fourteenth win of the season against Blackburn Rovers on Sunday.
It was the Eagles’ captain’s fifth game since he arrived on a free in January and he has helped Middlesbrough to two wins, two draws, and a defeat.
Marveled by his performance, Middlesbrough official Twitter handle and some of the fans took to the social media to express their love for the former Chelsea midfielder.
