The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the ABS, Chief Uche Nworah has commended the members of ABS situation room for effectively covering and airing of the February twenty-third Presidential and National Assembly elections in the state.

Chief Nworah made the commendation during a meeting with members of the election situation room at the ABS Corporate Headquarters Awka.

Addressing the meeting that attracted both Onitsha and Awka staff, Chief Nworah appreciated them for their doggedness in informing Ndi Anambra and beyond of the events as they unfolded, describing it as true journalism.

He urged them to remain on top of their job to maintain their position as the leading broadcast station in the South East.

Also speaking, the Director, News and Current Affairs Department, ABS, Mr. Gab Okpalaeze called for more analysis while covering the State House of Assembly election on Ninth of March to get the people well informed

Earlier, the Coordinator, ABS Situation Room and Head of Information Communication Technology, Mr. Ugochukwu Afoekelu, while congratulating all the members of the Situation Room for a job well done, said improvement will be made on some areas where they experienced short fall

Some members of the Situation Room including David Okpokwasili, Franca Ononuju, and Godwin Unigwe among others also pointed out some areas where improvements are needed.
