The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC says it will build digital literacy centre to promote Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development progamme at its camp in Issele-Uku, Delta State.
The Director-General of National Youth Service Corps, Major-General Sule Zakari, made this known at the ground breaking ceremony of the facility at its Orientation Camp in Issele-Uku in Aniocha North Local Government Area.
The Director- General who was represented by the Director of Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Department in Abuja, Mr Nuhu Kwanghe said that the project will be beneficial to corps members, the community and assured the management of the camp of his
commitment to the speedy completion of the digital literacy centre.
He said that the National Youth Service Corps would not cheapen the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development programmes by accepting proposals with shallow content from would-be stakeholders.
The Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps in Delta State, Mr Omotade Ayodele said that the deliberate investment by the Delta State Government coupled with the strategic intervention of the National Youth Service Corps management would enhance the viability of the project.
