The ABS family over the weekend converged on Iruokwumene kindred Oranto village Ukpo, Dunukofia council area, to commiserate with one of their own, Mrs Nneka Ogbuonwu, during the burial ceremony of her mother in-law, late Mrs Grace Ogbuonwu.

Aged eighty two, late Mrs Ogbuonwu was a devout Christian, whose lifestyle was said to have attracted souls for Christ.

Late Mrs Grace Ogbuonwu, was blessed with many children including Mr Boniface Ogbuonwu, who is the husband of the Director of Finance of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, Mrs Nneka Ogbuonwu.

There was heavy presence of the staff of the ABS who trooped out in their numbers to condole with one of their own, Mrs Ogbuonwu.

In a sermon during the burial service at her family compound, the Parish Priest of Church of Pentecost, Anglican Church Ukpo, Reverend Valentine Mbachi who commended the children of the deceased for caring for their mother in her trying times, described the deceased as one whose faith in God never withered till her last day on earth.

Reverend Mbachi advised Christians to live a holy life in order to gain the kingdom of God, even as he cautioned Christians against leading people to condemnation through their way of life.

In a condolence message, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the ABS Chief Uche Nworah urged the family to take solace in the fact that their mother lived to a ripe age of eighty two, urging them to keep their mothers legacies alive.

Some Directors of the establishment including Mr Gab Okpalaeze of the News and Current Affairs Department, Barrister Juliet Amasiatu, who is the Director Legal Services and Mrs Beatrice Akwanamnye, Director of Commercials, prayed God to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest.

They also prayed God to grant the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the loss.

The first son of the deceased Mr Boniface Ogbuonwu and the wife, Mrs Nneka Ogbuonwu, appreciated God for the life their mother lived, noting that their mother was peaceful and God fearing.

The first daughter of the deceased Mrs Bessy Igbomoji said their mother trained them to be respectful and accommodating and to be strong even in the face of difficulties, promising to uphold her legacies.
