President Muhammadu Buhari has said that Nigeria would continue to work with the State of Israel by strengthening existing bi-lateral ties.
The Nigerian President stated this in a congratulatory message to the Prime Minister of Israel, Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu, on his victory in the country’s Parliamentary election.
A statement issued by Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr. Garba Shehu, said President Buhari extended best wishes to the people of the State of Israel in the aftermath of the successful conclusion of the poll and wishes them peace, progress and stability going forward.
It added that all existing relations between Nigeria and Israel would be strengthened for more benefits to both sides.
While wishing Prime Minister Netanyahu a successful new term in office, President Buhari prayed that his record fifth term will bring enduring peace and security to the Middle East.
