Anambra State Government has banned every form of street trading and hawking in all streets, major roads and highways in the state.
A release signed by the Anambra state Commissioner for Trade and Commerce Dr. Christian Madubuko states that the ban is to enhance easy flow of traffic, improve environmental sanitation and aesthetics, warning that anyone caught flouting this ban will be prosecuted.
The release call on all and sundry to support the efforts of the state government towards promoting a socially stable and sustainable environment.
