The Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Barrister Rita Maduagwu has urged Nigerians to make the interest of the nation a priority in all their endeavors in spite of religious and political affiliations.

In her goodwill message to mark the Easter celebration, Barrister Maduagwu noted that Easter offers Christians the opportunity to reflect on their lives, adding that since Jesus Christ triumphed over death, Christians are expected to triumph over corruption and other social vices.

She urged political office holders to take a cue from the selflessness and sacrifice made by Jesus Christ for the salvation of mankind by eschewing all forms of political, social and religious vices in the interest of peace and progress of the nation.

Barrister Maduagwu while wishing Ndi Anambra a Happy Easter celebration enjoined them to use the period to show love to one another especially the less privileged and to continue to contribute
to the good governance of the state.
