The National Chairman of All Progressives Alliance (APGA),  Chief  Victor  Oye, has commended the Nigerian workers for their resilience, candour, patriotism and understanding in the face of obvious difficulties and prayed God to bless and keep them.

In his May Day statement, Oye expressed confidence in the workers and urged them not to do anything that would have negative impact on the nation, especially the  nascent democracy.

He described the workers in this clime as among the best in the world, urging them to work harder to enthrone a functional and equitable society in which the welfare of the citizens would be paramount and protected.

Dr. Oye advised the workers to reciprocate the gesture of the government to agree to pay the minimum wage of  thirty thousand naira by being dutiful, hard working, transparent and productive in the discharge of their duty.

He called on President Muhammadu Buhari to sustain the cordial relationship between the workers and his administration as the only way out of the conflicts of interest that had characterised past administrations.
He exhorted all Nigerians to pray for workers and shun divisiveness, enthinicity and religious  tendencies  that have stalled growth and development in our nation.
