A second suspect has been arrested by the Police Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SAS), as investigations continue into the murder of Late President General of Nimo community, Chief Frank Anthony Igboka.
Police sources confirmed to Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS) that the suspect, a native of Obosi in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, was arrested on Friday, 3rd of May 2019 following a police manhunt. The source however refused to name which of the three suspects declared wanted by the police that was arrested saying that Anambra police Commissioner will disclose the details in a scheduled press conference taking place this weekend.
This is the second suspect so far arrested in connection with the murder of Chief Igboka.
Earlier in the week, the police arrested and paraded Chigbo Anyaegbu also known as Transformer, the chief suspect in the murder and declared three others wanted, namely Smart (surname unknown), Chukwunonso alias Nwasami and Obinna Okafor.
Anambra State Government had also placed a N5M reward (totalling N15M) for information leading to the arrest of any of the three suspects.
