A one-time Managing Director of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, Sir Amobi Adirika over the weekend celebrated his seventieth birthday anniversary in grand style.

The event which attracted priests, family members, friends and well wishers took place at his family Compound Ojoto in Idemili South Local Government Area.

During the event Sir Amobi narrated his journey through life and thanked God for His Grace while appreciating the support of his immediate and extended family members.

Felicitating with Sir Amobi Adirika and family, the traditional ruler of Ojoto, Igwe Gerald Mbamalu said Sir Amobi, who is a High Chief in the Community was passionate and dedicated in his service to Ojoto as the Community’s one-time President-General.

A bosom friend and colleague, Mr KC Emordi, described the celebrant as simple and kind hearted and prayed God to give him more grace and long life.

In their separate speeches, Sir Ndubisi Nwobu and Lady Nnedi Ogbaji thanked God for Sir Amobi Adirika noting that he is always ready to render help to the needy which he demonstrated when he was the President of Rotary Club of Awka, GRA.

The first son of the celebrant Prince Chibueze Adirika on-behalf of his siblings said that their father rooted them in Christ and gave them humble beginning.

Expressing his joy and happiness over the event, the celebrant, Sir Amobi Adirika, went down memory lane on how his life began ,saying that life is all about hard-work and dedication.

Those present at the event were the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, Chief Uche Nworah among others.
