As the eighth and first female President of Rotary Club of Awka Metropolis, who was installed on October 27, 2018 to man the gravel of the club for one year, it is a thing of joy to say that it has been fun all the way. As the Inspiration Team winds up by June 30, 2019, I sincerely say that I am happy and fulfilled serving Rotary International.
My focus in supporting education, growing local economies, fighting diseases, promoting peace, saving mothers and children and providing clean water has really been a great guide to me in my year of service. I am very grateful to Rotary for offering me this opportunity to serve.
As I end my year with an International Award Night at Trig Point Hotel and Suites, Nibo today, I welcome all good men to join us celebrate Rotary in a unique way and make the world know that Rotary is the way. There will also be Thanksgiving Service at Saint Thomas Aquinas’ Catholic Church, Awka by 9.30am on Sunday, May 26, 2019 and in-house handover the next day, May 27 at Melco Hotel, Ifite, Awka.
I thank Rotarians in District 9142, who assisted me to achieve my goals, my colleagues in the pen world, my amiable ladies of great Aboatulu Kindred of Abomimi, Enugwu-Ukwu and my family for their support.
