Teachers have been encouraged to put in more efforts in nurturing children to become responsible citizens in order to secure a better society for the future generation.

Anambra state Deputy Governor, Dr. Nkem Okeke gave the encouragement when pupils of Vivtess Royal Academy, Crèche, Nursery and Primary School Umunnoke Awka, paid him a courtesy visit in his office at the Government House Awka.

During the visit, Deputy Governor Okeke took time to interact with the pupils who were excited and happy to see and chart live with the state’s second citizen.

Addressing the pupils in the company of their teachers, Deputy Governor Okeke, who described education as key to success, said the present administration will continue to invest in the education sector, calling on teachers in the state to always play their roles as expected of them, to help the government secure a bright future for the children.

Speaking earlier, the Proprietress of the school, Lady Nonye Nwogbo commended the Obiano led government for carrying private schools in the state along in its quest to uplift the Education Sector to greater height , disclosing that the visit was aimed at exposing the pupils to governance and inspiring them to pursue and see their various dreams as realizable.
