Ndi Anambra have been urged to support Governor Willie Obiano’s administration in its present drive to consolidate the initiatives on sustainable development.
Speaking to journalists in Awka the Special Assistant to the Governor on Science, Ministry of Basic Education, Chief Raymond Uchebo said the Governor has set a template for comprehensible development of all sectors.
Chief Uchebo said all parts of the state have witnessed visible development in all sectors including Security, Agriculture ,Infrastructure, Education , Trade and Commerce among others, noting that the huge investments made in the Education Sector, especially technical and vocationak Education have equipped students of the state to excel in national and international competitions while the Governor’s rural development policy has opened up the various communities and bridged the gap between urban and rural areas as well as created new windows of opportunity.
He noted that the success recorded in the implementation of his pillars of development and the enablers is accelerating economic growth that would boost the state Gross Domestic products .
Also speaking, the Transition Committee Chairman for Awka North, Mr. Ferdinand Onwuje said the Governor is a visionary leader, builder and one who places high premium on human capital development with children as his major focus , noting that the Governor has created a conducive
environment for quality learning and has provided necessary logistics to equip children adequately to excel and attain their full potential in life.
Mr. Onwuje commended the wife of the Governor, Dr. Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano for raising the quality of life of the less privileged , women and children through her non- government organization CAFÉ, He called on stakeholders, individuals and organizations to compliment governments efforts towards giving children brighter future.
