The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the ABS, Chief Uche Nworah, has tasked staff of the establishment to be more innovative and productive in the discharge of their duties.
Chief Nworah stated this during the weekly training and post motem of the News Department at the Radio Wing of the Newsroom in Awka.
Chief Nworah said that to realize Governor Willie Obiano ‘s mandate to ABS on twenty four hours broadcast, every news staff should be more creative, especially journalists, so as to feed the news desk.
He said that staff of the department should be abreast of happenings around them and report same so that the people will be more informed.
He charged them to be disciplined and respect constituted authority, and have regard for their seniors, for easy work flow.
The Director News and Current Affairs Department, Mr. Gab Okapalaeze urged reporters to be up and doing, as people of the state are looking up to them to know what is happening in the state, and the world at large.
