The Anambra State Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of
Nigeria has advised relevant individuals in the state to identify with
the Agency to promote and develop science and practice of personnel
management in their work places.

The Institute emphasized this when the state leadership of the Agency
paid a courtesy visit to the Managing Director and Chief Executive
Officer of ABS Chief Uche Nworah at the station’s Corporate
Headquarters in Awka

Correspondent Chibuzo Obidike reports that 
the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria was  established
as an umbrella Association for practitioners of personnel management
to promote excellence and regulate conduct of   people to Deliver
Value for Sustainable Growth of Individuals, Organizations and the
nation at large.

in his speech,  the State Chairman of the Association,  Mr. Michael Muorah who spoke
through the Treasurer of the Association, Mazi Okoro said that the
Association  seek to develop and maintain high standard of
professional competence and ensure that the management of human
resources in Nigeria, both in public and private sectors as well as conform 
with the best professional standard.

Mazi Okoro  said that the visit was to solicit for partnership and
support of the station to educate and sensitize the people on
personnel management for efficient and higher  productivity.

Receiving the team,  Chief Nworah while  appreciating  the delegation for the visit said that the Association is  well known  across the globe  noting 
that when properly championed, it will address some anormalies in service delivery system. 

He assured that the ABS was  always ready to partner
any agency and organization for the actualization  of human oriented goals and objectives .

In a vote of thanks, the Vice Chairman of the group Mrs. Blessing
Ezeafulukwe, thanked the ABS management team for the good work the
station is doing in the state and assured that the Institute will
continue to educate the public on working ethics.
