Over three hundred and fifty candidates have received the sacrament of
Confirmation at Saint Mark’s Anglican Church Aguluzigbo, Anaocha Local
Government Area.


The special service also witnessed the admission of some members into
Women’s Guild and Father’s Fellowship.
The Anglican Bishop of Awka Diocese, Right Reverend Alexander Ibezim in a sermon during the Episcopal visit, cautioned Christians to desist
from acts capable of causing eternal destruction in their lives.


Bishop Ibezim, revealed that it is by living a Christ-like life that all forms of damnation and immorality will be ameliorated in their lives.


The Prelate called on the newly addmited Women Guild and Father’s
Fellowship members to accept Christ as their Lord and personal saviour
to live a worthy life unto God.
Some of the newly confirmed candidates including  Chidi Okoye and Ebere Mmaduakor promised to live in truth and spirit.


The Bishop and his wife, Chioma, were welcomed by the Parish Priest,
Venerable Nehemiah Ugoagu who described Episcopal visit as a means of
evangelism aimed at winning souls for Christ.


Ichida Archdeaconry, Adazi-Enu Archdeaconry and Aguluzigbo group of
churches joined during the service.
