Governor Willie Obiano will on Tuesday next week formally launch the 2019 farming season.
A release signed by the Anambra state Commissioner for Agriculture, Honourable Nnamdi Onukwuba, stated that the Governor during the ceremony, will also flag off disbursement of agro equipment and inputs to farmers and formerly launch Anambra Agro- farmers market, vegetable export programme and land Reservation Scheme among other programmes of the Ministry.According to the release, the event will take place at Dr Alex Ekwueme Square Awka by ten o’clock in the morning.
The statement invited members of All Famers Association of Nigeria, Co-operative Societies, Agro Investors, Agro processors fabricators and the general public to the ceremony
