The Commissioner for Trade and Commerce, Mr. Christian Mmadubuko has restated state government’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for all types of businesses to thrive in Anambra State.
Mr. Mmadubuko made this known when he visited Stockfish International Market Onitsha and Owerri Road, Anambra State.
Speaking during the visit, Mr. Mmadubuko charged the traders to always be of good conduct in their daily transactions as well as keep to all the laws guiding markets in the state.
The Commissioner assured the traders that government will continue to provide basic social amenities to the market and urged them to always pay their taxes and levies to enable the government do more for them and the state at large.
Earlier, the President of the Market, Mr. Celestine Ezewuru, thanked the Commissioner for the visit, and appealed to the State Government to help them fill empty lock up shops in the market by bringing in more traders and to include the market among those benefiting from the state government’s Financial interventions to all the markets in Anambra State.
