The World Football Governing Body FIFA has given a Liberian official,
Mr Musa Bility, a ten-year ban from football for financial offences.
Mr Bility, a member of the African Confederation executive committee
and former president of the Liberian federation, was found guilty of
misappropriating FIFA’s fund.

An investigation opened after an audit of Liberian federation accounts
revealed various payments made and received from entities owned by Mr
Bility or his family.
Mr Bility was also fined five hundred thousand Swiss Francs.
Earlier this week Mr Bility had said he will contest FIFA’s decision
to take oversight of the operational management of CAF from August
first to January thirty first, 2020.
