The Anambra State House of Assembly has said that it will continue to give maximum support to Governor Obiano led administration which is committed to uplifting the living condition of the people.
The Speaker, State House of Assembly, Hon. Uchenna Okafor gave the assurance while felicitating with Governor Willie Obiano on his sixty-fourth birthday celebration during yesterday’s plenary.
Hon. Okafor announced that the seventh Assembly is happy with the present administration as Governor Obiano has continued to make good use of the state’s resources for the overall development of all sectors.
The Speaker called on Ndi Anambra to continue to give unflinching support to the present administration to enable it do more for the state. On his part, the member representing Nnewi North Constituency, Hon. Nonso Okafor described Governor Obiano as the best thing that has happened to Anambra State as his service to the state has yielded impressive result, especially in education and security.
The member representing Ihiala One Constituency, Hon. Chidi Udemmadu appreciated the Governor for leading by example through asking those who wished to congratulate him on his sixty-fourth birthday in the media to channel the funds to the treatment and welfare of the physically challenged persons in the state, under the Caring Family Enhancement Initiative, CAFÉ.
