The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra
Broadcasting Service, Chief Uche Nworah, has bagged the Man of Light Award for his contributions to the broadcast industry in Nigeria.

The award was presented to him during the 2019 Awards and Investiture of St. Michael and All Angels’ Church Ivite Aguleri, Diocese of Niger West.

Presenting the award, the Archdeacon and Vicar, Saint Michael and All Angels’ Parish, Ivite Aguleri, Venerable Emmanuel Onovo, said that the award was in line with biblical quotation to encourage hard work and evangelism which Chief Nworah has been championing through the Anambra
Broadcasting Service, noting that the award will strengthen him to do more
Venerable Onovo used the occasion to  commend  Governor Willie Obiano
for his continuous support to education, health and security sectors, which he said is evident in the just concluded presentation of cheques to mission schools and the commissioning of the medical Oxygen Gas Production Plant at Amaku Awka and described it as a boost in ensuring that the living standard of Ndi Anambra is improved.

Receiving the award on behalf of Chief Nworah, a Staff of News and Current Affairs Department of the ABS, Comrade Chibuzo Obidike said that the ABS is delighted  for the  Man of Light Award, adding that  the recognition will serve as a big motivation to drive the station towards serving Ndi Anambra and her audience across the world better.

Earlier in a sermon, Evangelist Victor Delibe who spoke on the topic: “God of Miracles,” likened each Christian’s potential to “jar” which when filled, will unlock the person’s overflow of blessings and prosperity.

He acknowledged that the awards from the church is to fill up the jar of those distinguished personalities to enable them invest more in the things of God.

The event climaxed with presentation of awards to deserving individuals and cutting of cake to mark the end of the Parish’s Women August Meeting as well as prayers for Anambra State Government.
