It was a moment of joy and thanksgiving to God as the Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, family joined their own, Head of Engineering Department, Engineer Paul Okoye and wife Amara to dedicate their first daughter, little Miss Chukwuzurumoke Paul-Okoye, to Almighty God.
The event took place at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Nibo, Awka South Local Government Area, with friends and well wishers in attendance.
In a sermon during a Holy Mass, the Parish Priest of the Church, Reverend Father Paulus-Maria Okafor while saying that child dedication plays significant role in the Christendom, noted that it helps infants to grow in faith and the way of the lord.
Members of the ABS including, the Head of Administration, Miss Tina Ekenta, Ebele Ezeh and Ify Unachukwu congratulated the Parents of the child and charged them to uphold a good parental responsibility to their children.
The parents of the child, Engineer and Mrs Okoye, who expressed joy over the dedication, affirmed that their baby, Chukwuzurumoke Paul-Okoye, is a blessing to their family and the community at large.
Dedication of Chukwuzurumoke Paul-Okoye to the Almighty God, praises and thanksgiving formed the highpoints of the ceremony.
