It took the intervention of an Ambulance attached to the Convoy of Governor Willie Obiano to save the life of a middle-aged woman involved in an accident along the Agulu-Nnewi road.
The victim(unidentified) according to eye witness account, was standing along the Adazi Nnukwu axis of the road, waiting for a bus, when a Toyota Corolla with Registration number, APP-756-ON, skidded off the road, hit and pinned her to a nearby gutter.
Governor Obiano who was returning from a condolence visit at Ichi, immediately stopped his convoy and directed everyone to help pull out the vehicle under which the victim was still trapped.
Security personnel, drivers and everyone immediately swung into action and pushed out the vehicle and brought out the victim who had sustained serious injuries on the head, bleeding through the nose, with broken arms, was immediately rushed to Rise clinic, Adazi Ani.
