Mrs Obiano calls for value re-orientation in the upbringing of children

The wife of the state Governor Chief Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano has called for value re-orientation in the upbringing of children as a way of checkmating youth restiveness in the country.
   The Governor’s wife made the call in her message during this year’s children’s day celebration..
Chief Mrs. Obiano who described children as the most vulnerable members of the society, emphasized the need for measures against child abuse.
   She restated her determination to continue to empower women and youth, the different skills that will make them become self reliant.
    Contributing, the Commissioner for Local Government, Mr. Greg Obi and the former Commissioner for Information Culture and Tourism, Maja Umeh called on parents to watch their children closely to ensure that they do not grow into meaning adults.
