The commissioner for information and communication strategy, Ogbuefi Tony Nnacheta has charged children to stay focused in their studies as, education is key to human development.
He disclosed this in an interview with ABS at the Alex Ekwueme Square on the occasion of the 2016 Children’s Day Celebration.
Ogbuefi Nnacheta maintained that children as the future leaders of the country require quality education and good moral upbringing.
On his part, the State Chairman, All Progressive Grand Alliance Sir Nobert Obi, enjoined children to be of good behaviour wherever they find themselves.
He also, charged parents and teachers to instill discipline in the children and called on the government to support their activities and provide a conducive learning environment for them.
