The Federal High Court, Abuja today, refused to grant a request stopping President Muhammadu Buhari from inaugurating the forty- three Ministerial nominees over the exclusion of a Federal Capital Territory indigene from his cabinet list.

The applicant, Mr. Musa Baba- Panya, who was also the Counsel in the case, had, on Thursday, approached the court with an exporter motion, asking the court to stop the president from going ahead on the inauguration.

President Buhari is the first defendant while the Attorney General of the federation is the second defendant in the case where Baba- Panya, who is an indigene of Karu in the Federal Capital Territory, said the president’s action was contrary to an Appeal court’s judgment delivered on March fifteen, 2018.

President Buhari would be inaugurating the forty- three Ministers designate earlier confirmed by the Senate on August twenty- first at the Federal Executive Council Chamber, Presidential Villa, Abuja .
