Governor Obiano has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to effectively partnering the Federal Government to attract more social investments into the State.

Governor Obiano was speaking at the just concluded 2016 State Executive Council Retreat in Awka.

Addressing the retreat participants,?Governor Obiano tasked them to device ways to do more with less as well as partner the Federal Government to attract value and funding, for the overall development of the State.

The Governor disclosed that he maintains regular interaction with the President and the Vice as part of building bridges, saying that Anambra State has built for herself a very good reputation.

He called on the participants to always go for information to equip themselves properly for accruable dividends from the Federal Government.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Economic Planning an Budget, Mr. Mark Okoye, who made a presentation on Optimizing Federal Government Relationships and Opportunities, asked the participants to assist in increasing the State presence at the Federal level, reminding them of the need to attract more partners to enable the administration deliver its vision for the State.

Mr Okoye who disclosed that most times, Federal Government values Anambra State as a pace setter, said that the State is properly positioned for benefit from Federal Government intervention programs.

The Special Adviser called on participants to always be involved in the development of strategic plans to actively engage their parent Ministries, Departments and Agencies
