The Anglican Bishop of Awka Diocese, Right Reverend Alexander Ibezim says Holy Spirit is the instrument for effectiveness, efficiency and responsiveness in the life of a Christian.

Right Reverend Ibezim, who is the incoming Archbishop of Ecclesiastical Province of the Niger, stated this at Saint Marks Parish, Enugwu-Agidi, during confirmation and admission into Women’s Guild and Father’s Fellowship, at the church.

Right Reverend Ibezim stated that it is very important for all who were baptized in the name of Christ to live a practical Christian life by preaching undiluted words of God and salvation to others.

The Prelate maintained that during confirmations, candidates receive Holy Spirit which will be their guide and protector throughout out their life and urged them to allow the light ignited in their life shine to eternity and never be ashamed of preaching the gospel.

Right Reverend Ibezim called on mothers and fathers inducted to lead by example as their children are observing their behaviour calling for institution of family altars in every home.
Some of the newly confirmed candidates, including Chinwe Okoye, Chinedu Obi and Faith Nnaeme promised to keep the faith and to live according to the dictates of Christ.
