The beneficiaries were drawn from the seven communities that make up Awka South Constituency Two.

Speaking on the essence of the programme, the benefactor Chief Okoye explained that it was designed to promote knowledge and prepare the beneficiaries ahead of the subjects they will study in the next classes.

According to him, in the end, examinations will be conducted for them and those who took first to fifth positions will be awarded scholarships.

Expressing their gratitude to the lawmaker, a student of Community Secondary School Amawbia, Miss Victoria Adu -Gyamfi thanked Chief Okoye for preparing them for the task ahead, assuring that they will not disappoint him.
