Culture they say is a people’s way of life, this is the reason the Students’ Union Government of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka and Spine Communications Ltd decided to organize a cultural festival tagged ‘Oji Ofor Festival’.

Igbo culture dates back to the biblical ages, stamping her roots from biblical patriarchs, Eri the son of Gad from Jacob also known as Israel.

The arrival of the School traditional council led by the Institution’s monarch, Mr. Franklin Ezenwegbu kicked off the festival when they were received by the popular Oja music.

The event is graced by dignitaries, notable of whom are the Managing Director, Spine Communication Dr. Emeka Okeke, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ABS, Chief Uche Nworah, Director of UNIZIK Confuscius Institute, Professor You Zhargbao, the Public Relations Officer of the University Dr. Emma Ojukwu among others.

The event featured cultural and masquerade displays, wrestling contest, native food sampling etc.
