The Manager of Christ the King College CKC Onitsha, Very Reverend
Father Arinzechukwu Okafor says the education friendliness of Governor
Obiano led administration and commitment to duty by school management
and teachers motivated students to take their studies serious.
Reverend father Okafor who spoke to correspondent, Festus Obierika on
school resumption for 2019/2020 academic session, noted that students
came back in their numbers, eager to begin the new academic session.

He extolled Governor Willie Obiano for his foresight in repositioning
the education sector and charged the newly admitted students to always
obey school rules and regulations as well as embrace their studies.
The Vice Principal, Academics of the school, Reverend Father Francis
Onwuchulu also called on teachers to get prepared to impact knowledge
in the students.
ABS crew also visited Regina Pacis Secondary School, Onitsha where the
manager of the school, Reverend Father Paschal Okonkwo commended the
students for keeping the rules of the school which mandated every
students to be in school on the first day of resumption after holidays
and urges teachers who have not covered their scheme of work to do so
to help students to excel and commended the school teachers for their
commitments to duty.

Also at the Ezechima Primary school Onitsha, the Headmistress of the
school, Mrs. Augustine Onwuli said that one hundred percent attendance
was recorded at the resumption day by both teachers and pupils while
the pupils were seen receiving lessons in their various classes.
Mrs. Onwuli thanked Governor Obiano for prompt payment of workers’
salaries and the commissioner for Basic Education, Professor Kate
Omenugha for her efforts in raising the standard of education in the
state.
