The Commissioner for Public Utilities, Engineer Emeka Ezenwanne has reassured that the present administration will sustain provision of amenities that would give quality life to Ndi Anambra.
Engineer Ezenwanne stated this in his office at Government House Awka, when he received a team from G. Gekko Innovative Fire Safety who called on him.
The Commissioner, Engineer Ezenwanne who said that it is important for everybody to have knowledge of fire safety, pointing out that as dry season is about to set in, people should be careful in handling things that are inflammable.
He said that the Ministry will embark on sensitizing Ndi Anambra on best ways to protect their property and life against fire so as not to fall victim and also educate them on best gadget to use if the unexpected happens.
Earlier in his presentation, the Chief Executive Officer of the Fire Innovative, Mr. Okey Denchukwu, who noted that fire can occur without any notice, explained that their focus is to use technology in rapid response to fire incidents, stating that the collaboration with the Ministry will ensure that the fire officials get acquainted with the new innovation and how to work with all classes of fire gadgets.
In his remarks, the Director of Fire Department in the Ministry, Mr.
Martin Agbiligba, commended Governor Obiano for making life and good living of his subjects priority in his administration and called on government to support the innovation for
enhanced productivity.
Fire officials of the Ministry were present during the visit while demonstration on how to use the innovation climaxed the visit.
