The Anambra State Government says the major part of the Anambra Integrated Security Initiative, otherwise called Operation Okpochapu Two, is its ability to encourage professionalism to enhance job creation for the youths.


The Chief Of Staff to the Governor Mr. Primus Odili, expressed this optimism during a Press Conference with  in Awka.


Correspondent Chibuzo Obidike was there for ABS and  reports that the Operation Kpochapu Two, launched on October eleven is the State technology driven security initiative  comprising of one hundred and eleven super smart vehicles with seventy-one motor bikes, solar powered infrared enabled close circuit TV with ability to perform facial identifications, store, track and tag objects of interests among others.
 Mr. Odili, who  recalled  that on assumption of office, Governor Obiano saw that the state economy only ran on a four hour trade and commerce and as such visualized that no meaningful development could thrive in the state without sustainable security sustainable network.


He noted that the launch of Operation Kpochapu Two is a demonstration of Governor   Obiano administration’s determination  to sustain  innovations that will outsmart criminals even after his administration.


Also speaking, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Creative Security, Retired Air Vice Marshal Ben Chiobi said that a platform  has been created  to manage all the digital and ICT assets which focuses on providing multimedia data collection and analysis that will aid the policing system of the state and sustain the state as the industrial hub of the country.


On his part the Special Adviser to the Governor on Security, Safety and Emergency, Chief Chikaodili Anara, while going down memory lane of the past security situation in  Anambra which forced citizens to their individual homes before seven o’clock said that the present security status of Anambra state is a clear success story which other states should emulate to achieve a secured country for all.
