The Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr C-Don Adinuba has called on youths to take advantage of the long term loan facilities for the Small and Medium Enterprises, SME, at favourable terms and become entrepreneurs.

Mr. Adinuba made the call when the Ijele Tea Producers called on him in his office at the Jerome Udoji state secretariat, Awka.

The Ijele Tea Producer is one of the beneficiaries of the loan facilities for SME by the state government.

Receiving the delegation, Mr. Adinuba, who advised them to adopt the global vision of Governor Willie Obiano and penetrate into the foreign market and conquer the world, said their entrepreneurship spirit is in line with Anambra state policy of inclusion, creativity, innovation and skills.

While assuring them of governments support to ensuring that the beverages are exported beyond the shores of Nigeria, Mr Adinuba said it is also in line with Governor Obiano’s vision of making Anambra state, the first destination every entrepreneur in Nigeria will consider before making final investment decision.

Speaking earlier , the leader of the team and the producer of the Ijele tea, Mr. Chukwuemeka Obinwugo said their visit was aimed at presenting officially, their locally produced Ijele hibiscus tea and Ijele lemon tea to Anambra state government to appreciate its immeasurable support towards Small and Medium Enterprises in the state.

Mr Obinwugo also stated that they came to solicit government’s support towards having access to market, technology and funds which according to him are some of the major challenges confronting the SMEs.
