The Executive Secretary, Anambra State Health Insurance Agency, Dr. Simeon Onyemaechi has called on Ndi Anambra to key into the scheme for affordable and effective health care services.
Dr. Onyemaechi who made the call while speaking to the ABS in Awka noted that the state’s health insurance scheme initiated by Governor Willie Obiano is one of the best legacies his administration will leave for Ndi Anambra at its expiration.
He noted that with one thousand naira a month, and twelve thousand annually, one is eligible to enjoy the tremendous packages in the scheme and revealed that over seventy thousand people in both formal and informal sector have so far been enrolled into the scheme.
Dr. Onyemaechi who is also the Special Adviser to Governor Obiano on Health appealed to affluent Ndi Anambra to enroll their families and villagers into the scheme as their Christmas gift, as good health remains key to achieving a better society.
He commended Governor Willie Obiano for his dynamic leadership style in the State, especially his exploits in the health sector, which he said is now a reference point in Nigeria.
