Anambra Newspapers and Printing Corporation, publishers of National Light Newspaper Awka, celebrated multi-talented school children acrosss the state as they hosted Christmas Carols for children at the stations corporate headquarters in Awka.
It was series of funfair as students from various schools who dressed in different Christmas wears , exhibited enthralling talents and skills while the carol lessons were read by dignitaries who graced the occasion.

The programme kicked-off with singing of soul lifting and highly spirited hymns repleted with fascinating displays like dancing raps, drama, essay competition among other side attractions which added glamour to the event.
Addressing the gathering, the Chairman of the occasion Professor Anthony Eze, described Christmas Carol as a service of Christmas worship celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.
He urged parents to train their children in the lord’s way, while advising children to adhere strictly to the morals inculcated in them by their parents.

The Chief Host of the event and the Managing Director of National Light Newspaper Awka, Sir Chuka Nnabuife explained that the programme was geared towards inspiring new knowledge of yuletide to children, which he said created a clement atmosphere for them to show their talent.
He enjoined Ndị Anambra to promote peace in their various communitiies to ensure that the joy of yuletide season is not lost Describing the event as apt, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ABS, Chief Uche Nworah, commended the organisation for creating a platform to enhance social integration and spiritual renaissance of the youth.
A student of Nnamdi Azikiwe High School Awka, Master Chinonso Odum, who expressed joy over the celebration, affirmed that it was a great opportunity to have fun and interact with other students.
The event featured presentation of trophies and visiting of Santa Claus in his grotto.
