Christians have been urged to praise God’s name in songs and glorify him with thanksgiving no matter their situation.

The Pastor in- Charge of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Peace Parish Area Headquarters, Nkwelle Awkuzu, Pastor Cornelius Ajaero, gave the advice in a sermon during a thanksgiving service at the church.

Pastor Ajaero, who urged Christians to always develop a habit of expressing gratitude, stressed that it should impact both their relationship with God and with other people.

Speaking on the theme” I will Praise Thee O’ Lord” Pastor Ajaero, described praise as an expression of thanks which is a way to respect God while advising people all over the world to have an attitude of gratitude to God.

According to him, thanksgiving reminds Christians of what they have and the blessings they have received from the Lord and tasked the Faithful not to be anxious about anything, but in every situation, through prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present their requests to God.

In their various testimonies, the church children’s teacher, who is also a staff of ABS, Deaconess Nonyelum Ajaero, and one of the Parishioners, Mrs. Grace Ewesiobi, testified the goodness of God who preserved and protected them from all evil and prayed for more grace in their lives.
Correspondent, Emmanuel Chigbata, reports that the service featured prayer, praises and thanksgiving while the congregation danced to the glory of God.
