No fewer than seven hundred people living with different ailments benefited from the free medical outreach of the member representing Orumba North Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Honourable Emeka Aforka.
The free Medicare, held at Amaokpala Health Centre, attracted many indigenes of the town both young and old.

The free medical outreach which will last for eight days will cover the sixteen communities within Orumba North Constituency.
While flagging off the exercise, the benefactor, Honourable Aforka explained that the gesture was aimed at fulfilling his campaign promises to his constituents.
Referencing the blueprint of Governor Willie Obiano in the Health sector through the Anambra State Health Insurance Scheme, Honourable Aforka added that his desire to give his people quality Medicare, especially the down trodden is for them to be healthy and be fit to carry out their legitimate businesses.

The outreach focuses on cases of nose, eye, hypertension, malaria, diabetes and HIV/AIDS among others.
The Lawmaker brought a team of medical Doctors, Nurses, Lab Scientists, Pharmacists and Optometrists, who carried out free tests on the patients and administered free drugs while those with visual impediments were also given free eyeglasses.
In an interview, the Traditional Ruler of Omogho, Igwe Nwaogbonnaya Ofor, who benefited from the medical outreach extolled the l quality representation of Honourable Aforka, especially for remembering that health is wealth.
Other beneficiaries, including Mr. Peter Nwafor and Mrs. Chimezie Nwankwo thanked the Lawmaker for coming to their aid.
